For the RVer new terminology can make a little "confusion. To clarify things would I like to some common RV terms that you provide during your RVing experiences encounter.
D
Deep Cycle Battery - Often referred to as the auxiliary battery (s) or battery is the power of a 12-volt DC devices and Accessories used in the RV. Unlike an automotive starting battery is designed to hold a charge longer and repeated. The RV battery (s) shallIf the mobile home runs, or in the Case of a trailer when the tractor runs when a line is wired to take charge of the trailer. It is also charged when the motorhome is connected to a power source and a 120-volt generator.
Delamination - If the Filon (fiberglass panel) from the holder Luan used to build the side walls of fiberglass on a camper off. This is usually caused by water damage.
Ask pump water - the water, which operates from a12-volt demand pump. If you water in the reservoir of fresh water and the pump is under pressure the water on board. If you have a tap and the water pressure drops, the pump turns on and off constantly to maintain a constant pressure to open.
Diesel Pusher - A camper with a rear-mounted diesel engine. Often referred to as a pusher.
Dinghy - a term used to tow a vehicle behind the motorhome.
Dry Camping - Camping in an RV withoutSupply lines (electricity, water, sewerage). You can still all 12-volt appliances and Accessories to the deep cycle battery (s) a fee. You can also use the integrated system of water demand pump to 12 volts and if you have a generator, you can use 120-volt appliances and charge the extra battery use (s). That a mobile home for complete mobility.
Dry weight - dry weight (DW) or downloaded vehicle weight (UVW) is the actual weight of the RV, built in the factory. L 'DW does not include passengers, cargo, fresh water, gas, fuel or after market accessories.
DSI-Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) - a system used by the device with a propane torch at the light touch of a button. E 'often RV refrigerators, ovens and used some water heaters.
Ducted A / C and Heat - If the A / C and heat during the camper is supplied with a channel system. A / C is flowing into the ceiling exhaust heat into the ground.
Dually - A pick-upTruck with two tires on each side of the rear axle.
taken Dump - If the two tanks will be closed in a single main output. Here you can empty your RV sewer hose or empty the gray and black water holding tanks.
Dump Station - An area designated and approved for dumping or emptying sewage and gray water holding tanks.
E
electric brakes - the trailer brakes are electric and are activated when the trailer vehicle brakes are applied by a brake controllerinstalled in the towing vehicle.
Empty Nester - If all children are out of the house.
Equalizing Hitch - smooth equalization of weight distribution with hooks or additional hardware (spring bars and brackets) to distribute a percentage of the total weight of the trailer tongue on the axles of the trailer vehicle and the trailer axle. Trailer tongue weight should be 10 to 15 percent by weight of the trailer loaded.

Fifth Wheel Trailer - A trailer with a raised frontthat above the bed of a pickup truck. A special attack is mounted in the bed of the truck above the rear axle to tow a fifth wheel trailer.
Filon - A type of finish used GRP next camper with fiberglass.
Fiver - Another term for a fifth wheel trailer.
Folding caravans - even as a pop-up trailer or a tent known. They are the smallest of the camper with the ends and folding sides for easy towing and Storage.
Fresh Water Fill - AOpening to the outside of the camper, where you can fill the fresh water tank with potable water for use when traveling or camping dry.
Fresh water holding tank - A tank mounted under or motorhome, the drinking water stored for use when traveling or camping dry. To pressurize the system and the use of water in the tank is the question to 12-volt pump.
Full Hook-Up - A full hook-up is to connect with the camper at the campsite electric, water and sanitation. InIn addition, you can also include cable TV and telephone connection.
Full time / Full-Timing - living conditions of use for RVer and travel in the RV full-time employed. Some full-time employees sell everything and live in their homes on 100% of the time. Other full-time employees who spend most of their time traveling back RV Extended choose to keep a house or residence, can travel.
G
Generator - commonly used on RV generator produces a 120-volt alternating current. AGenerator allows you to use 120-volt appliances when you are not connected to an external power source. Generators are designed in kilowatts. For example, a 5 KW generator 5000 watts.
Genset - In the short term for a generator.
Waste water tank - A tank under the camper, the waste water from the sink and shower collects installed. If you dump the tank is empty or always necessary, the black tank dump, and then load the gray container. This will help flushThe drain hose.
Axle weight (axle load) - It is the maximum weight that an axle is designed to support. The towing vehicle and trailer are each GAWR.
Gross weight rating (GCWR) - The total weight of the tractor and trailer combined when both are fully loaded for the ride.
Perm. Weight (GVWR) - is the total weight of the vehicle is fully loaded for the ride. The towing vehicle and trailer with eachGVWRs.
Gross weight of the vehicle or trailer with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) - This is not a vote, that's the actual weight of the vehicle or towing a trailer when fully loaded for the trip.
This list is not exhaustive, but if you learn these terms you will soon understand RV terminology.
